According to the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, a traumatic event is a frightening, dangerous or violent occurrence that poses a threat to a child’s life or bodily integrity. MTEC, in partnership with Lutheran Social Services and UWM School of Education, recognizes the seriousness of trauma, especially for children, and the need for educators to be equipped with the tools to support students and families; while also supporting themselves.
Join us on Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at (The Shops of Grand Avenue) UWM School of Continuing Education at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee. Doors open at 8:15am.
