Join the 2019 MTEC Summer Educators’ Institute: High Leverage Instructional Practices to continue your learning right into the summer. The Summer Institute will feature three sessions to support educators in developing their skills and expanding their resources for the classroom:
Mon, 6/17 @ 9am-12 noon
Student Engagement
Understand how to further engage students in the classroom and help them move further towards academic success.
Mon, 6/17 @ 1-4pm
Culturally Responsive Teaching
Learn in greater detail how to teach in a way that reflects students' cultural background and strengths to empower them to achieve academically.
Thurs, 6/20 @ 9am-12 noon
Differentiated Instruction
Understand how to implement varied strategies to address student barriers to learning.
Participation in the Summer Institute will yield:
- A greater understanding of the areas that affect student learning
- Hands-on learning that aligns with the most updated research related to best practices in teaching and learning
- Networking opportunities with colleagues and educators in both similar and diverse areas of education
Each three-hour Summer Institute session is filled with impactful, interactive information that can be directly implemented in the classroom.
